Minutes of the Annual Parish Meeting of Gorsley & Kilcot

held on Monday 15^th May 2023 at 8pm.

Present: Parish Council Chair, 9 Parishioners.

In attendance: Charlee Roberts (Clerk to Gorsley & Kilcot Parish Council)

1. Chair welcomed all parishioners in attendance and welcomed all new parish councillors following an uncontested election.

2. Apologies for absence were accepted from Viv Ferguson.

3. Minutes of 2022 Annual Parish Meeting were reviewed, with no questions or comments the minutes were signed.

4. The following reports are available and will be taken as read:

a) Gorsley & Kilcot Parish Council Chairman’s Report – Noted the communications section, no questions raised.

b) Gorsley & Kilcot Parish Council Financial Report – No questions raised.

5. No reports were provided from District and County Councillors. It was noted that County Councillor Gill Moseley has been a great supporter of the Parish and the Council are looking forward to continuing to work with her and the newly elected District Councillor.

6. Reports from other organisations

a) Police – The Police provided a statistics report which will be available on the Council Website and upon request from the Clerk.

b) Church – No report received. Council wished to note their thanks to the Church for allowing the Council to continue using the building to hold their meetings.

7. Public Questions – No questions raised.
